Chocolate Covered Stuffed Peppermint Dates

These are the easiest little treat to make when you want something sweet for dessert. You can choose which nut butter you want to add to the middle, but I chose almond butter! If you have any candy canes lying around start to smash them up to sprinkle on top~ Here’s what to do!

4-6 dates
Almond butter
Chocolate chips
Candy canes
Slice the dates in half and remove any pits-add in a spoonful of almond butter into the center. Melt a bowl of chocolate chips at 30 second increments-stirring in between~take a spoon and top dates with melted chocolate. Crush up candy canes and sprinkle on top before chocolate hardens~place in fridge for 15-20 minutes to cool~Enjoy

That easy! I love to keep some in the fridge or freezer for something sweet throughout the day plus they’re full of ingredients that nourish our bodies.

Happy Eating!
