Simple Salad

Salads don’t have to be boring! There are so many different nutritious fruits and veggies to brighten up those lettuce bowls~Here’s one of my faves!

Spring Mix Lettuce

Roasted Brussel Spouts

Roasted Broccoli

Lean Ground Turkey Meat

Pesto

Nutritional Yeast

Side of Crackers-I use Simple Mills(gluten and dairy free)

Roast your veggies at 400 for 25-30 minutes with olive oil, Himalayan pink salt, and garlic powder. Cook up your turkey meat with avocado or olive oil over the stove and season as you like-I use Trader Joe’s Everyday seasoning. Throw everything in a bowl and mix it up with some pesto-I use Trader Joe’s Vegan cashew kale pesto(dairy free) and top with nutritional yeast for an added nutty/cheesy flavor with B vitamins! If you can do gluten then use whole wheat crackers~be sure the first ingredient reads “Whole Wheat Flour”.
