Kale Gnocchi with Pesto

Trader Joe’s is such a staple in my life so whenever they come out with new products I must try them! The kale gnocchi kind of threw me off I’m not going to lie…I was annoyed! Though, after seeing it all over instagram I got FOMO and had to give it a try. It definitely surprised me and I love it! It has more protein than the cauliflower because it’s made with chickpea flour which I honestly think is easier on my stomach-here’s how I made it:

1 bag of Kale Gnocchi

1-2 tbsp Vegan kale pesto

1-2 Frozen turkey burgers

1-2 tbsp Nutritional yeast

Everyday Seasoning

Heat a pan with olive oil and let gnocchi sit for about 5 minutes-flip over every 5 minutes or so for about 15 minutes or until they looked cooked(they went get as golden or crispy). Cook your turkey burger(s) with olive oil on a pan and season with the TJ’s Everyday seasoning. Once everything is all cooked throw in your favorite dish and top with pesto and nutritional yeast. This gnocchi comes out a little softer in my opinion which I like because it’s a closer consistency to actual gnocchi! This meal can be made for 1-2 people-when I make it for just myself I’ll only cook half the bag. Everything can be found at your local Trader Joe’s! Happy Eating!
