Veggie Grain Bowl

Need something cheap, easy, and filling? A bowl full of fiber, protein, complex carbs, and healthy fats is perfect for keeping you satisfied, nourished, and on top of that budget! What you’ll need~

Brown rice-I like the microwavable packets to save time and cleaning

Veggies-broccoli, brussel sprouts, carrots, etc.

Lean ground chicken-Try to by organic if you can

Avocado

Seasonings-garlic powder, sea salt, black pepper

Cook the chicken in a pan with olive oil and seasonings. Steam veggies in a pot for about 3-5 minutes and then sauté in a pan. While everything it cooking follow microwave instructions for rice or if you’re cooking your rice start first! The Instapot is great for making brown rice and only takes about 20 minutes. Once everything is done toss in a bowl with some avocado and seasonings! Enjoy a bowl full of all your necessary macronutrients~
