Chocolate Date Bites
The perfect little treat naturally sweetened with dates! These guys got you covered with protein, fiber, healthy fats, and complex carbs to keep you nice and satisfied. I also threw in a scoop of Further Food Collagen to strengthen those nails, hair, joints, skin, and gut health! Give them a go~
1/2 cup Pitted dates(about 8-9 dates)
1/3 cup Rolled oats
1/3 tbsp Almond butter
2 tbsp Chia seeds
1 scoop Further Food collagen
2 tbsp cacao powder(cocoa works too)
Cinnamon
For Blenders:
First I take the dates and blend them separately with a touch of almond milk. Then I mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, set in the fridge for 20-30 minutes, and roll into bite sized balls once cooled. Store in the fridge and enjoy!
For Food Processors:
Place all ingredients in processor and blend for 1-2 minutes. You can either start rolling the balls right after or place in the fridge for 20-30 minutes and then roll. Rolling right after sometimes takes a little more time because the batter is a little crumbly. Either way works just fine!
