Protein Veggie Burger Plate

Trying to incorporate more plant based meals into my diet in oder to help impact the environment. One of my favorite veggie burgers has been Dr. Praeger’s All-American Protein veggie burger. Coming in with 28g of plant based protein, these guys are a delish meat alternative! For my sides I like to add my two favorite veggies, buses sprouts and sweet potato-any vegetable will do!

Slice the brussel sprouts in half and cut your sweet potato either in fry shape or into circles. Season with olive oil, garlic powder, black pepper, and Himalayan pink salt. Roast at 400 for 20-25 minutes. While those are roasting cook up your veggie patty in a pan over the stove-let sit and get some crisp to it so you get more of a crunchy texture. Once everything is done cooking place on your favorite plate and add some avocado and pesto to dip all the goods in!

I use Trader Joe’s Vegan Cashew Kale Pesto, but any will work.

Enjoy a nice plant-based meal full of protein, fiber, healthy fats, and lots of essential vitamins/minerals.
