Matcha Latte

Matcha lattes are currently my latest obsession. I've always had a love for green tea, but would see other food bloggers post about matcha. I decided to give it a try and fell in love right away with the earthy taste and creamy texture of the latte. I began ordering it at coffee shops on the reg, but unfortunately my wallet was not a fan, so I decided to make my own at home. I used a similar recipe from @leefromamerica.

1 tsp matcha powder

1/4-1/2 cup almond milk

1 1/2 cups hot water

1 tsp coconut butter

1 scoop Further Food Collagen Peptides

Blend up in a blender on high for 2-3 minutes. Blend longer and add more milk if you are looking for more froth.

Sprinkle with cinnamon on top~

You can purchase matcha powder at Whole Foods, Sprouts, or Trader Joe's. Be sure the powder doesn't have any added sugars!

Matcha has a variety of benefits! Because it is powdered green tea leaves is has the antioxidants of 10 loose leaf cups of green tea. It also provides us with energy, focus, and overall health due to its antibiotic properties. The earthy taste may throw some off, so try adding in some honey to make it a tad sweeter! Love you so matcha!
