Chai Chai Chai
If you couldn’t tell from my instagram I’m a HUGE chai gurl. I love chai lattes(probably because I don’t like coffee). They’re so cozy and warm and sweet…how could you not love them?! Though it’s a bummer when you get a “bad” one because that’s basically $5-$7 down the drain. So, I thought I’d compile a list of some of my favorite Chai Lattes throughout Southern California(so far)! See below:
Sidecar Doughnuts and Coffee: I love their chai because it’s not too sweet and you can really taste the spices. I always get with almond milk.
Lion and Lamb Coffee: For a sweeter chai I recommend this spot. They also have the best iced pumpkin spice chai in the fall! Great with oat or almond milk for those who choose no dairy.
Coffee Dose: Another spot with a less sweet chai. Goes down smooth.
Alta: The original place to get a chai latte! They’re always been good and always will be. Sometimes they bring in a pumpkin or gingerbread flavor for the holidays. It’s on the sweeter side.
Neat: I believe they just changed to a newer a chai and I love it! It’s a good mix between sweet and spicy. I like it with oat milk.
Hola Adios: They use a housemade chai syrup so it’s on the sweeter side, but super delicious!
HB Corner Market: Another sweeter chai choice, but still super tasty. I usually ask for half sweet!
Patch Coffee: They have a splendid ginger chai latte. Also a great pumpkin chai latte in the fall plus plenty of milk alternative choices. I love the macadamia milk.
Bear Coast Coffee: I haven’t tried their chai hot yet, but I crave them iced in the summer!
Portola: This is my all-time favorite chai latte! It’s seriously so good with the perfect mix of sweet and spicy(spicy as in you get those chai flavors). I always get with almond milk.
Bad Coffee: Similar to Coffee Dose. A less sweet authentic chai that’s nice and cozy.
Nourish: My favorite chai! House made with spices and oat milk-probably the healthiest chai you can get.
There are still plenty more chais to be had, but in general these are some of my favorite places to obtain one. I personally don’t like mine that sweet, so I always ask for half sweet! I also love them topped with cinnamon and typically get them with almond milk. Let me know if you have any favorites below!
