Who doesn’t love a great happy hour?! Happy hour is an awesome way to connect with friends, coworkers, and even family but at a cheaper price point! I created this post to show some of my favorite happy hour spots, I will be updating as I find more and please feel free to leave your recommendations as well.

Ola Mexican Kitchen-Huntington Beach

Ola is a great spot to catch up with your homies while enjoying a beautiful ocean view. Their $5 margs paired with free fresh chips and salsa will keep you there all night…and if it’s a Tuesday you can stay all night because they’re taco Tuesday HH specials last ALL night! It’s a great spot for a casual night or to start your night out. HH: 3pm-6:30pm M-F

25 Degrees

Located in Downtown HB this place is off to the side of the crazy main street and has a happy hour that lasts until 7pm! Any place with a happy hour longer than 6pm is a yes on my list. 25 degrees may not be your healthiest option, but it’s a fun spot to grab drinks and delicious fries with a group of your favorite people. Prices start at $3.50 for drinks and $5 for snacks. They also have live music on certain nights~a fun atmosphere for some weekend vibes. HH: 3pm-7pm everyday!

HQ Gastropub

This is a newer spot in HB, but easily became a favorite! There is plenty of seating and bar space with an ocean view. They have fun drinks with a music theme going throughout the restaurant. Their fries and brussel sprouts are always a must on my list-and when you can’t decide between sweet potato or regular fries you can mix and get both! They have a wide variety of food and drinks on their menu, though maybe pricier than most places it’s definitely worth it. HH: 2pm-6pm everyday!

True Food Kitchen

If you’re looking for a healthier happy hour then you’ll want to check True Food out. With a pricier menu their happy hour is a great way to try some dishes and drinks without breaking the bank! Menu items start at $5 and all meals are very accommodating to any allergies and food sensitivities. Located in Fashion Island which may lead to shopping after. HH: 3pm-6pm M-F

The Cannery

Not only does the Cannery have an awesome happy hour that goes until 7pm, but it comes with an excellent view of the Newport Harbor! This place is great for sushi and fish lovers, but they also have non fish options as well. Happy hour takes place upstairs with 50% selected food items and discounted drinks. HH: 3:30pm-7:00pm Daily.

Mahe

Located in Seal Beach this is definitely my favorite place to grab fish/sushi! Happy hour happens in the bar and it fills up quick so get there early! The brussel sprouts are always my first order even before the drinks. You really can’t go wrong with what you order and if you stay late enough you’ll get some live music! HH: 3pm-6:30pm

Playa Mesa

Cutest atmosphere with yummy drinks and chips n salsa. This is great to get together for a girls night or celebrate a birthday! They have a few food options on the happy hour menu with one of them being guac which is always a must! They also have cute outdoor seating with a fireside tables. It’s a nice change up if you’re looking for something new in OC. M-F 3pm-6pm.
