SEASON OF ILLNESS

With the winter season comes colder weather, darker days, and the dreaded flu. The stressors of the holidays, finals, and working nonstop hours wreak havoc on our bodies. It seems that illness is everywhere! Whether it's a coworker, classmate, or friend, the never ending cycle of the common cold spreads throughout your peer group. If everyone and their mothers is sick around you or if you're feeling a little off then try out these healthy season tips~

1. Drink hot tea. Tea is full of antioxidants and healing properties. Mint teas aid with a queasy stomach and sore throat. Ginger is great for the immune system. Green is full of antioxidants that strengthen the immune system.

2. Stay hydrated! Our bodies thrive off water, so keep drinking the liquid gold. Keep your bodies going with the magical liquid.

3. Kombucha. This fermented tea is beneficial for the immune system as well as digestive health. Gut health is important for overall health.

4. Sleep! So easy, but many neglect this beautiful time. It's ok to say "no" so that you may rest and say "yes" for the rest of the week.

5. Eat your greens. Listen to your mom and eat those veggies. Give your body all the nutrients so it may fight against that common cold. Food is fuel!

I hope you all have a happy, healthy, holiday season~
