QUICK, EASY, NUTRITIOUS BREAKFAST

Making time for breakfast can be difficult when you're always on the go, especially making time for a nutritious breakfast. I am a huge advocate of at least eating a little something to start your day so your body is given some energy. Here are some of my favorite go-to easy breakfasts that leave me energized and ready for the day!

1. Plain greek or regular yogurt: sweeten yourself-topped with berries, granola, seeds/nuts, nut butter, and honey.

 

2. Overnight oats: 1/2 cup rolled oats soaked in milk choice overnight, topped with nut butter, banana, chia seeds, whatever your heart desires!

3. Cereal: not the sugary kind~try Kashi, plain Cheerios, Puffins, Chex-sweeten yourself by adding honey, nut butter, and berries.

4. Toast: 100% whole wheat or sprouted-topped with a nut butter, banana, chia seeds or avocado and an egg.

5. Smoothie: 1 banana, 1/2 cup blueberries, 1 tbsp almond butter, 1-2 tbsp flax meal, cinnamon, a handful of kale or spinach(this is one of my favorite recipes) Get creative!

If you are really in a rush keep Larabars, Kind bars, and RxBars in your cabinet to grab and go!
